Poem: Feelings Poet's Name: Early Hayes
(hook…)
I DON’T KNOW WHY, I HAVE TO FEEL THIS WAY,
FEELING LIKE I’M CHAINED FROM THIS PAIN,
CAUSE THIS PAIN GOT ME FEELING LIKE I CANT GO ON.
(verse)
I feel useless, as I'm being used, They’re beating me over the head, so my brains being bruised,
And its making my mindset bloody, so mentally, I’m picking scabs, And I’m fighting adversity, so
I’m sticking jabs, Though I don’t know how many more rounds I could go, before I throw in the
towel, Cause, reality is retaliating with rabbit punches, knowing its foul,
As, life keeps stacking the odds against me, So I pray, even though I’m feeling like God’s against
me, I’m torn, battling my reflection, until no face is left, Killing myself for a blessing, cause they
say, the best way of testing your faith is death, Impatient, I can’t wait, it’s stress, Taking control,
plus every time I step on the scale to check my weight, its less, For I have a severe loss of
appetite, And its like, I’m lost on life’s road, cause I aint map it right, Plus I’m trying to juggle
struggle, but I keep dropping the ball, So I just stop, drop, and I fall, Cause emotionally, I’m
draining down, It’s like I’m swimming in a lake of fire, till I’m engulfed within its flames and
drown, With no life guards to rescue, me, From this leach love that’s less true, see, They got
more lies, but only half of the heart my chest do, gee, I’m dealing with so much, Its no wonder
why
I wanna role up a dro dutch, To escape this sadness for a little while, Trade in this look of
madness, for a little smile, As I, take in the laughter’s, of its known grace, Till it wears off, then
it’s back to this stone face,
Cause weakness, is something, I don’t show, But when I ask myself, “ Can I go on? ” the honest
answer is…” I don’t know ”.

I DON’T KNOW WHY, I HAVE TO FEEL THIS WAY,
FEELING LIKE I’M CHAINED FROM THIS PAIN, CAUSE THIS PAIN GOT ME FEELING LIKE I
CANT GO ON.

Forgive me father, for I have lived;
Tormented upon your stare;
Empty with in your embrace;
Feared with your thoughts;
Ecstasy in your eyes;
Lost with in your soul;
Fulfilled at my escape;
Forgive me father, for I have lived;

Poem: Waves Poet's Name: ldv
Distance is emotional space; To be blinded;
Only by thoughts of feeling empty with in;
Thoughts to drive one insane;
Always confusion, certainly determination;
To be in a place where you never get;
But, such beautiful thoughts fill empty
spaces with in;
Still, not enough; Need for physical feeling;
Knowing its is not to flow with in;
Mind boggling; Pounding that has not
stopped;
With every thump, more excitement;
Determination growing stronger;
Vibes of wave sounds heard before;
Never to be gone;
Thought only lights, too bright for
realness?
My wave of distance;
*DISTANCE IS AS FAR AS YOU MAKE
IT! *

Poem: Where is My Juliet Poet's Name: ldv
The face of my Juliet; Could it be; With the sweet
sounds of Marvin Gaye; I can feel your flesh upon
mine; That last kiss you placed unto my lips;
Dwells, with every beat of Al Green; Could she be?
Sweet face, plushed lips, soft hands, curved hips,
perfect toes; That is who she is; Is that who you are;
With your style, grace, intelligence, caress,
sweetness, laughter, smile, and vibes; God how you,
entice me; Could you be? My soul sista; My friend,
best friend; My lady, my lover, my wife; For you
seem to be, could this be; Could you be the face of
my Juliet?

Poem: Could U Be/My Juliet Poet's Name: ldv
Perhaps, this could be, "You", my Juliet; Strangers in woo, as if all was
known; Like Romeo, I live to breath for you & Die to be with you; I`ll draw
my sword to, Keep you from harms way; Wear my suite of armor & Fight to
the death;
Just to have your lips placed upon mine;
Pledge my devoted & undevoted attention;
At your every word, Damn those vibes; Vibes, which keep this lass w/ the
heart of a knight at full alert; To lay rested w/ your soul at sun down &
Awaken stronger w/ your love at sun up; Perhaps, this could be; Illusions,
placed upon this wit; To believe that of the unknown;
Screaming, Crying, Reaching, am I for "You"
Could "You" be, The face of my Juliet??
